Musubi was born from a deep admiration for the timeless elegance of Japanese ceramic traditions — reimagined through a personal lens.
While living in Japan, I (Zeycan) had the chance to study traditional ceramic techniques, immersing myself in the beauty of wabi-sabi, ritual, and balance. What began as a quiet fascination soon evolved into a passionate pursuit. When I returned to Türkiye, I knew I wanted to keep this connection alive — not only through making, but also by sharing it with others.
Together with my partner Burak, we created Musubi: a small ceramic studio where tradition and creativity meet. Each piece reflects this harmony — some stay true to classical Japanese forms, while others reinterpret them with a more modern spirit.
Our first collection centers around matcha rituals and ceramic objects for calm living — from handcrafted matcha sets to incense holders and burners. Every piece is shaped slowly, intentionally, and with care — made to accompany your quiet rituals, morning pauses, or moments of reflection.
Musubi means "connection" or "tying together" in Japanese — a word that feels just right for a project born from cultural ties, personal journey, and shared love.
Thank you for being here. We’re so happy to share this with you.
